MY HOUSE PLANT COLLECTION

let’s just jump right into my house plant collection!

Zamioculcas, Crassula Ovata/Jade Plant, Chamaedorea Elegans/Small Palm Tree

The small palm tree is my oldest plant - it’s around 4 years old! Jerome actually brought it back from Florida when he was out there. I still have no idea how he brought it back, but he got it at the airport and somehow was allowed!

Sansevieria Trifasciata/ Mother In Laws Tongue, Himalaya Mix Epipremnum/Golden Pythos, Monstera Deliciosa

I feel like the monstera deliciosa is just a baby or something because only a couple leaves have the swiss cheese look. The leaves are also only either hand-size or smaller, so maybe it doesn’t get more cheesy until it grows bigger? I’m not sure.

Cascading Pythos, Succulent Crassula, Bird Of Paradise

My bird of paradise started to get brown and there was actually an entire dead leave and stem that just fell out of the soil about a year ago. I chopped off the dead leaves (I had no idea what I was doing), and figured no new leaves would ever come in, but theres actually a brand new full size one and another new baby bud starting to come through!

Unknown Plant, Dracaena Reflexa, Fiddle Leaf Fig

I couldn’t figure out what the first plant in this set is called, poop. The fiddle leaf fig is my newest addition. I think it’s just a baby though because it’s not a tree yet - there’s no trunk! I really hope it lasts long because I bought it even though a lot of the leaves have brown spots on the under part. It’s so pretty though; I’ve always wanted a fiddle leaf fig.

When I first started my house plant collection, I didn’t know how much joy it would bring me. I get super excited picking out the plants that I like, and seeing them in my apartment is so fun.

I don’t know what it is, but plants make me so happy.

I have a little collection right now, but there are actually a lot of plants I have my eyes on that I want to bring home! I did my best to list the types of plants that I have, and I apologize if I didn’t list them all or got any wrong! And yessss, I know there are some plants that are toxic to dogs, but most of mine aren’t within reach of my dog, and also he doesn’t care about the plants at all.

What are some other plants that I should add to my collection? Lemme know in the comments below.
